As the Diamonds gear up to face their fiercest rivals, the Silver Ferns, so do their Aussie and New Zealand male counterparts.

For a second year running, the Trans-Tasman Cup will be played as a double header alongside the women’s Constellation Cup, with all matches to be televised.

The Australian team will debut its new name – the Kelpies – when they hit the court Thursday for Game 1, after a long time between games and a lot of training.

Sophie Dwyer makes the Diamonds Squad

Teenage sensation and Giants sharp shooter Sophie Dwyer has had an incredible year in netball!

The 19-year-old played her first full season of Super Netty in 2021 and helped her team make it all the way to the grand final with her long-bomb accuracy.

Now she's been elevated from an Aussie Diamonds camp invitee to a fully-fledged member of the national squad.

So we caught up with the young superstar to see how she was feeling when she found out the exciting news.
